證嚴上人思想與實踐研討會

As you may be aware, Tzu Chi Foundation has become one of the largest Buddhist humanitarian organizations in the world since its founding by Ven. Cheng Yen in 1966. This year, we are pleased to extend a warm invitation to you for the Symposium on Ven. Cheng Yen’s Philosophy and Leadership, a rare event hosted at Harvard University, on September 3rd and 4th, 2023.

吉祥月社區活動

農曆七⽉在佛教是吉祥月，也是佛陀的歡喜月，更是感恩的孝親月。 1974年，慈濟證嚴上⼈即在詳述盂蘭盆法會以及普度的真義，期許慈濟⼈深⼊社區，推動正知、正見、正信佛教，了解「真正的普度」觀念。 並於 2003年開始，將法會型式轉變為祈福會的⽅式，於社區當地，舉辦各式愛灑祈福活動，宣導「七⽉原是吉祥⽉」的理念。

佛教慈濟基⾦會波⼠頓聯絡處，在八⽉二十⽇星期日上午⼗⼀點⾄下午二點，舉辦「吉祥月社區活動」 – 敬天愛地聚福緣，感懷親恩，推動蔬⻝三好，健康好、環境好、尊重⽣命好，⼒⾏環保，疼惜大地。當天分為靜態、動態活動。靜態藝文特區有: 花藝區、茶道區、太極書法區。動態活動區為: 舊鞋回收區，二手衣物惜福站，與您一起分享延續物命，資源再利用，讓我們留給⼦孫⼀個健康的地球。

午餐備有「善心蔬食」: 十二道人文蔬食料理、主廚教學、蔬食素烤等，募您一份心，邀您共同為土耳其滿納海學校募款，發揮人人心中的愛，集合眾人的力量，點滴付出共聚福緣，許戰火下的孩子一個未來。用善心、善念、善行，為自身以及親友家人，也為世間祈禱平安祥和，共植美善福田。
